TRASHY® Studio: Your Creative Playground
create something unforgettable. Trashy® Studio is your creative playground — where you can turn digital media into art that tells a story & evokes emotion. We’ll walk you through the basics so you can get started with confidence.
Step 1: Add your media
When you first open the app, you’ll see a green + button in the bottom right corner. Tap it to select your media — photo & video! Here’s the best part: we built this with your privacy in mind. Using Apples native photo picker, Trashy® Studio doesn’t access your camera roll, and no one at Trashy® HQ will ever be able to access your grid.
Once you’ve selected your media, tap the checkmark and it will start to fill in your grid. Tap a photo or video to enter the Editor and let the fun begin.
Step 2: Find your look with TRASHY® presets
At the bottom of the Editor View, you’ll find a few tabs. the first is our cult favorite Presets — a scrollable lineup of curated looks, made just for you. Want something specific? Explore our Preset Categories to match your vibe. once a preset is selected you can tap it again to fine-tune it with easy-to-use sliders. you can also tap the ♡ and add a preset to your favorites — this makes it easy to organize your looks in one spot.
Step 3: Finish with our professional adjustment toolkit
Tap the Adjustments Tab to access our professional adjustment tools:
Light & Color Control: Tweak exposure, brightness, contrast, shadows, highlights, blacks, whites, temperature, tint, and more.
Color Grading: Adjust saturation, vibrance, or hsl for precise color grading.
Blurs & Glow: Experiment with Gaussian, motion, or our unique Lip Gloss Blur for a dreamy, glowy effect. Created to emulate smearing gloss on your camera lens.
Film Grain: Add texture and real film grain for a nostalgic or cinematic effect.
Creative Tools: Add a colored vignette and experiment with blend modes to create a unique effect.
Crop & Sharpen: Resize for socials & bring out details.
Skin Smoothing: just a little for dreamy portraits and selfies.
Step 4: Batch edit, save & share
When your masterpiece is complete, copy and paste your edits on the rest of your media by selecting an edit on your grid, tap ‘copy’, then select the rest of your batch and tap ‘paste’. save it in high resolution to post on socials, print for your gallery or send to your crush ♡
